On June 30, 2020, the "Baidian Town Forklift Worker Vocational Skills Competition" was jointly organized by the Baidian Town Trade Union, Market Supervision Administration, Special Equipment Department, and Jiangsu China Mining Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. A total of 15 people were selected by China Mining Corporation to participate in the competition.
The forklift competition is divided into two parts: theoretical examination and practical operation. In practical operation, the main consideration is how the forklift operator can complete the specified standard actions in the shortest possible time. Any pressing, speeding, collision with obstacles, or illegal operations will result in points being deducted. According to the competition rules, the one with the least time within the specified time will win.
The contestants gathered their minds, operated steadily and quickly, demonstrating good basic skills and proficient operational skills. Through the competition, they also built a platform for the company's forklift workers to showcase their job skills, exchange skills, and communicate with each other, promoting the cultivation of high-quality skilled industrial workers in the company.
After the competition, the contestants expressed one after another, "The form of skill competition is very good, providing us employees with an opportunity to exercise and showcase. We hope to have more opportunities for job training in the future
